Why I’m here…

As a human resources practitioner, I have seen the struggles organizations face first hand.  As a researcher I have sought to find answers to why those struggles occur and find solutions to better understand the root cause.  As a consultant, I bring both of these areas together to be able to provide you with a well rounded approach to your organizations people needs.  I began my career in in casino management operations and not in HR  I have seen both sides of the fence and I know that to be successful, HR policies must take into account operational needs.  After I completed my bachelors degree, I moved into the field of human resources.  As a branch manager for a leading regional staffing agency, I worked hand in hand with business leaders and HR professionals to develop their workforces.  I also began pursuing my MBA which I completed in 2011.  As my career progressed and my HR skills refined, I opted to take my education to the next level and pursue a doctorate degree which focused on improving organizational performance through workforce development.  My educational endeavors and practical experience allow me to look at an organization from the outside and provide solutions to enhance thier people operations from the inside.  As we all get caught up in the daily grind, it is important to know that being in the weeds, makes us miss things.  That is why outside consultants provide so much value to an organization that is looking to change or find better ways of doing things. I will work with you and your teams to identify opportunities and develop strategies to create positive outcomes.  I am happy to meet to discuss your needs and to work toward a game plan for your organization.
